Ram Truck Introduces new Ram 1500 HFE EcoDiesel Pickup

A new, more fuel-efficient Ram Truck model was unveiled and is joining the brand’s half-ton truck lineup. Ram already produces the most fuel-efficient 4x4s and the fastest, quickest and most powerful pickup truck in its segment. The new Ram 1500 Tradesman HFE EcoDiesel has a city rating of 23 mpg, and an unsurpassed highway rating of 33 mpg. Additionally, the pickup also features an HFE designation, or High Fuel Efficiency, as a way to highlight this Ram pickup’s excellent fuel efficiency.

The Ram 1500 is America’s most powerful half-ton pickup with 480 lb-ft of torque and the most capable light-duty diesel with towing capability up to 12,560 pounds, and delivers up to 1,000 miles of range on a single tank of fuel,” said Mike Koval Jr., Ram Brand Chief Executive Officer. 

The 2021 Ram 1500 Tradesman HFE EcoDiesel comes standard as a crew cab four-door model with a 5-ft. 7-in. Truck bed and 20-inch aluminum wheels. Additional features include a black grille and bumper, wheel-to-wheel side steps, a tonneau cover and cloth bucket seats. Available in either Bright White Clear or Diamond Black Crystal, the 2021 Ram 1500 Tradesman HFE EcoDiesel has a starting MSRP of $42,240 (plus a $1,695 destination fee). The pickup goes on sale during the second quarter of 2021.

The first in its light-duty pickup segment to include the latest Know & Go mobile app, the 2021 Ram 1500 TRX offers buyers an immersive experience to help them learn more about their vehicles. Standard on this Hellcat-powered, off-road behemoth are the following active safety and security features: Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind-Spot Monitoring, Forward Collision Alert and Ready Alert Braking. An exclusive link-coil rear suspension system with optional Active-level four-corner air suspension makes for class-leading riding and handling in the Ram 1500 TRX.
