University Dodge KBB Awards

Big news for truck and muscle car fans! Two of Stellantis’s powerhouse brands, Ram and Dodge, are hauling home prestigious awards from the Kelley Blue Book Consumer Choice Awards. Ram takes the coveted title of Best Overall Truck Brand, solidifying its position as a leader in the truck market. This win comes at a perfect time, as Ram gears up to launch the highly anticipated 2025 Ram 1500 and the groundbreaking Ram 1500 REV, the brand’s first-ever electric truck. Talk about riding a wave of momentum! Meanwhile, Dodge continues its winning streak, claiming the Best Car Styling Brand award for an impressive sixth consecutive year. This recognition is a testament to Dodge’s commitment to creating vehicles with head-turning looks and undeniable street presence.

KBB & Consumer Preferences

The 2024 Consumer Choice Awards are based on Kelley Blue Book’s Brand Watch study, a comprehensive online survey that taps into the minds of over 12,000 in-market new-vehicle shoppers annually. This in-depth study goes beyond simple brand recognition, delving into how shoppers perceive key factors that influence their purchase decisions. It sheds light on brand and model familiarity, as well as loyalty among car shoppers, providing valuable insights into the automotive landscape.

Ram Trucks

The all-new 2025 Ram 1500, unveiled last fall (2023), boasts the powerful 3.0-liter Hurricane engine family, delivering increased standard power, performance, and fuel efficiency across the Ram lineup. But that’s not all – Ram sets its sights on electrification with the all-electric 2025 Ram 1500 REV arriving later in 2024. This commitment to electric solutions aligns perfectly with Stellantis’ Dare Forward 2030 plan, which aims to lead the future of mobility with innovative, clean, and affordable options. Reducing emissions is a cornerstone of this plan, with Stellantis aiming for a 50 percent carbon footprint reduction by 2030 and net zero emissions by 2038.

Dodge

odge muscle cars aren’t going electric quietly. The brand recently unveiled the world’s first electric muscle car, the Dodge Charger Daytona. This multi-energy muscle car lineup boasts the title of “world’s quickest and most powerful” with the all-electric 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack. This beast delivers a whopping 670 horsepower, launching from 0-60 mph in a mind-blowing 3.3 seconds and conquering the quarter-mile in an estimated 11.5 seconds. But performance isn’t the only focus. The Charger Daytona lineup, including the 496-horsepower R/T, retains Dodge’s best-in-class styling. The modern, muscular exterior prioritizes function without sacrificing heritage, subtly referencing the clean lines of classic Chargers. Buckle up for electrifying performance and iconic design – production of the two-door coupe kicks off in mid-2024, with all-electric four-door and gas-powered two-door models following in early 2025.
