The Ram 1500 Classic Warlock Mojave Sand Edition is Here
It’s safe to say that the current-generation Ram 1500 is a fantastic pickup. Even though it’s been on sale for a relatively short time, the fifth-generation Ram 1500 has racked up plenty of accolades, including the North American Truck of the Year honors. Prospective buyers on a budget who aren’t ready to transition to the latest-generation will be happy to know that the Ram 1500 Classic is still part of the Ram lineup, and now it’s even got a new special edition!
There’s a new Mojave Sand package — based on the Ram 1500 Classic Warlock edition — that’s here to give the Ram 1500 Classic more of an edge with its old-school truck style. The package is not a performance package, but aesthetic upgrades include black-painted 20-inch aluminum wheels, a sport performance hood, and a Mojave Sand exterior paint job. On the inside, the cabin now features an 8.4-inch infotainment touchscreen display, a 7.0-inch customizable in-cluster display, and black high-back cloth/vinyl performance seats.
Like all variants of the Ram 1500 Classic model, the Mojave Sand package is available in both Quad Cab or Crew Cab configurations. A 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine is the standard, but buyers can upgrade to the optional 5.7-liter HEMI V8. Both engines are paired to the same eight-speed automatic transmission — the TorqueFlite. “The Ram 1500 Classic Warlock continues to prove that value never goes out of style. With the addition of the popular Mojave Sand exterior paint option, this truck will continue to resonate positively with buyers,” said Reid Bigland, Head of Ram brand.
The 2019 Ram 1500 Classic Mojave Sand edition has a starting MSRP of $53,690 (plus destination fee). Buyers can also opt for the Ram 1500 Classic Warlock model Mojave Sand Edition is based on for just $37,040 (plus destination fee). The Warlock edition is available in a lot of colors — Patriot Blue, Maximum Steel, Granite Crystal Metallic, Flame Red, Billet Silver Metallic, Blue Streak, Pearl Red, Diamond Black, Bright White, and Bright Silver Metallic.
Other 2019 Ram Special Edition pickups include a Ram Heavy-Duty Night Edition with all-black exterior accents and monochrome exterior paint options. Color-themed packages, such as the 2019 Ram 1500 Classic Express Hydro Blue Package, or the 2019 Ram 1500 Classic Express Ignition Orange Package, both include 20-inch black aluminum wheels, black accents, and a bold performance hood. The Hydro Blue Package is also powered by the legendary 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine. The latest-generation Ram 1500 also gets in on the action with the 2019 Ram 1500 Kentucky Derby Edition, celebrating 144 races with exclusive Kentucky derby graphics and bold rear and front body-colored bumpers.
