Ram Trucks Kicks Off the Holiday Season

November 24th, 2021 by

Ram Trucks is slated to participate in a one-of-a-kind holiday tradition. For the seventh consecutive year in a row, the truck maker will be the Official Truck of the 95th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Ram Trucks works closely with Macy’s and the city of New York every year to kick off the holiday spirit. More than 20 Ram pickups will tow all the floats. In a special touch, the newly-minted Ram 1500 (RAM)RED Edition will be responsible for pulling Santa’s sleigh.

“As the brand that is ‘Built to Serve,’ the Ram Truck brand is honored to serve as the official truck of this iconic parade as our full portfolio of award-winning trucks pulls these floats down the streets of Manhattan. We are thrilled to have people return to experience this magical event in person as we continue to take great pride in aligning our brand with an iconic American event like the 95th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade,” said Mike Koval Jr., Ram Brand CEO- Stellantis.

Ram will not simply transport the parade floats, the pickup maker will also assist in moving other parade materials for the annual celebration. Tool containers, costumes and so much more will be in tow. Ram Trucks accommodated the Macy’s parade with more than 60 trucks and Ram ProMaster commercial vans — used for behind-the-scenes tasks leading up to the parade.

The 95th annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade airs on NBC, Thursday, November 25, 2021, from 9 a.m. to noon. Enthusiasts can follow along and participate in the excitement via Ram’s official Facebook, Instagram and Twitter feeds.
