Ram Truck Delivers When it Comes to Farms
As long as farms exist, there’ll be a market for pickup trucks–both light and heavy-duty–and Ram Trucks knows this. With this knowledge in hand, Ram Truck is headed to the 95th National FFA Convention where the brand is hoping to make a big splash. Not only will there be a Ram Truck exhibit at the event with lots of Ram 1500 pickups on display, the brand is also teaming up with country music artist Jackson Dean for the occasion.
“The Ram Truck brand has been an active supporter of the National FFA Organization for more than 60 years and it is a great pleasure to share our space and collaborate creatively with Jackson Dean as he shared the same values of dedication and perseverance. We admire and applaud these future agriculture leaders and will continue to encourage their aspirations in any way possible,” said Marissa Hunter, Senior Vice President of Marketing, Stellantis, North America.
Collaboration with Jackson Dean
The collaboration between the truck maker and this country artist extends far beyond the entertainment factor. Ram launched a new video spot which features Dean and honors the farming profession. Set to the musician’s “Wings” tune, the latest ad from Ram highlights hard work and commitment not only through the country music artist’s eyes, but through the eyes of a rising FFA member as well. The truck maker’s dedication to help serve and support farming families and communities across the country continues to grow. There’s also a new 30-second spot titled “Hope” which targets the agriculture community as well, reminding them that farm life is all about hoping for the best but planning for the uncertain future.
FFA
FFA–formerly known as Future Farmers of America– is an organization dedicated to inspire anyone interested in a career in agriculture or farming. Focused as a student organization, the FFA is tasked with national youth leadership development. Currently, there are more than 850,000 students and members throughout nearly 9000 FFA chapters. With their mission to make a positive difference in the life of students, the FFA helps develop their potential for leadership, career development, and personal growth. There’s simply no better way for Ram to meet and inspire young people who may one day need a pickup of their own.
2023 Ram 1500 Changes
Although the current generation Ram 1500 debuted in January of 2018, the model has seen plenty of changes and upgrades since. As the fifth-generation Ram 1500 continues its production cycle, many buyers are wondering what changes are in store for the popular pickup. While some are expecting huge changes for the 2023 model year, it just so happens that the Ram 1500’s mid-cycle refresh is programmed for the 2024 year instead. Recent leaks on Ram forums indicate that although the mid-cycle refresh won’t be happening any time soon, the Ram 1500 is likely to experience a few changes, including the addition of a 12.3-inch thin-film-transistor (TFT) digital cluster.
