Ram Truck Debuts Three New Edition Ram 1500 Pickups

September 30th, 2021 by

Ram Truck revealed three new special edition pickups at the State Fair of Texas — the newly-minted 2022 Ram 1500 (RAM)RED Edition, an exclusive new 2022 Ram 1500 TRX Ignition Edition, and the 2022 Ram 1500 Longhorn SouthFork. Buyers now have an even wider selection when it comes to choosing a Ram pickup, including the addition of exterior and interior content and accents. Ram is currently staging a Ram Truck display at the State Fair of Texas until October 17 (2021).

“Buyers demand a good-looking truck with easy-to-use features. They tell us their Ram trucks are an extension of their personality, and they want to stand out from the crowd. Ram customers demand even more and our new models deliver that with a selection of exterior and interior appointments and content for even greater personalization,” said Mike Koval Jr., Ram Brand  Chief Executive Officer — Stellantis.

Ram 1500 (RAM)RED Edition

Ram, Jeep, and FIAT committed a minimum of $4 million to the Global Fund. The partnership lasts from 2021-2023 and is intended to help fight health emergencies with (RED). Ram’s latest, the 2022 Ram 1500 (RAM)RED Edition is part of this partnership. Available on Limited Crew Cab configurations, the Ram 1500 (RAM)RED Edition offers buyers either a V8 or EcoDiesel engine. It also features a red R-A-M grille and corresponding door badging. Ram also added a (RED) badge on the center console lid. The 2022 Ram 1500 (RAM)RED  has a starting MSRP of $63,250 (plus destination fee) and is slated to go on sale during the fourth quarter of 2021.

Ram 1500 TRX Ignition Edition

Aggressive in its stance, the 2022 Ram 1500 TRX Ignition Edition enhances the original TRX trim and gives performance truck buyers an even wider selection of original content and personalization. Ram is only making 875 units of this pickup, so buyers will have to act quickly if they want to get behind the wheel of one. Featuring a combination of technology, graphics, performance, and exterior appearance straight from the factory, the 2022 Ram 1500 TRX Ignition takes the performance truck realm to new heights.

Ram 1500 TRX Ignition pickups come standard with the TRX Level 2 equipment Group, a unique Ignition exterior shade and graphics, a panoramic sunroof, cargo tie-downs, bed step, an LED cab-mounted brake light, and 18-inch machine face black wheels. On the inside, the TRX Ignition Edition comes with Copperhead Orange stitching, copper carbon fiber accents, an orange center console badge, a driver’s screen that features TRX in Ignition Orange, pedestrian emergency braking, and an embroidered “TRX” seat back logo.

The 2022 Ram 1500 TRX Ignition Edition is powered by a high-performance 6.2-liter supercharged HEMI V8 engine and has a starting MSRP of $91,585 (plus destination fee) and is slated to go on sale during the last quarter of 2021.

Ram 1500 Longhorn SouthFork

Tasked with replacing the Limited Longhorn 10th Anniversary edition, the Ram 1500 Longhorn SouthFork is all-new for 2022. It includes a multi-function tailgate, spray-in bed liner, Falken Wildpeak all-terrain tires, a metal pedal kit, and a deployable bed step. Additional features include adjustable cargo tie-down hooks, a cargo divider, and LED box lighting. On the inside, the 2022 Ram 1500 Longhorn SouthFork features standard bucket seats clad in an exclusive Mountain Brown shade, suede door bolsters with leather inserts, and a laser filigree detail. The 2022 Ram 1500 Longhorn SouthFork has a starting MSRP of $61,620 (plus destination fee) and is slated to go on sale during the fourth quarter of 2021.
