Ram Truck Continues its Thanksgiving Tradition
For the ninth consecutive year, the Ram Truck brand continues a unique holiday tradition as the Official Truck of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Collaborating closely with the Macy’s team and the City of New York, Ram is actively contributing to the preservation of this festive tradition. Over 20 trucks from Ram will be involved in towing all the floats, spreading joy in the hearts of New Yorkers and millions nationwide.
Furthermore, Ram will embrace the holiday spirit with three trucks receiving full wraps to harmonize with the float designs of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, and, notably, a specially adorned Ram truck will be responsible for towing the parade’s star, Santa Claus.
“It is a privilege for the Ram Truck brand to be the official truck of one America’s most celebrated occasions. Our Ram trucks are built to serve all our customers everywhere, and we are honored to be just a small part of the magic that happens during the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade as our full portfolio of award-winning trucks pulls these floats down the streets of Manhattan,” said Tim Kuniskis, Ram brand CEO – Stellantis.
Ram will not only play a crucial role in transporting the floats along the parade route but will also contribute to the logistical aspects of producing the annual celebration. This includes moving various parade materials, such as tool containers and costumes, in preparation for the Thanksgiving Day procession. The Ram Truck brand has supplied the Macy’s parade with over 70 trucks and Ram ProMaster commercial vans, many of which are utilized for behind-the-scenes functions leading up to the commencement of the parade. The 97th annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is set to be broadcast nationwide on NBC-TV on Thursday, November 23, 2023, from 8:30 a.m. to noon across all time zones.
2025 Ram 1500
Irrespective of whether customers prefer gas, electric, or a hybrid option, the complete range of 2025 Ram 1500 trucks once again redefines the possibilities of what a truck can embody. This is achieved through a compelling fusion of distinctive styling, capability, and performance. Designed with a foundation focused on serving, starting with the frame, these trucks aim to exceed consumer expectations and deliver more than ever anticipated from the Ram Truck brand.
For the 2025 model year, Ram introduces a comprehensive update and enhancements to its full-size truck. The previous Hemi V-8 is replaced by a new twin-turbocharged inline-six, offering either 420 or 540 horsepower. While the exterior modifications are subtle, they impart a more modern and aesthetically pleasing look. The refresh includes new lighting elements, wheel designs, and an updated color palette. Inside, the standard 8.4-inch touchscreen is upgraded to a larger 12.0-inch display, and an even more expansive 14.5-inch screen is now an available option. Additionally, a 10.3-inch passenger-side screen is introduced as an option. Building on its reputation as the most luxurious truck on the road, the Ram 1500 introduces a new top-tier Tungsten model that elevates the standards with features like quilted-leather upholstery, massaging seats, and upscale amenities such as a 23-speaker Klipsch stereo.
