February 8th, 2023 by

University Dodge 2023 Chicago Auto ShowStellantis is ready to show up and show out at the 2023 Chicago Auto Show courtesy of Ram Truck and Dodge. The popular auto show, often chosen as one of the main places for automakers to showcase new and upcoming vehicles, kicks off Feb. 11, 2023. Alongside Ram Truck and Dodge displays, the multinational conglomerate will also feature vehicles from Alfa Romeo, FIAT, Jeep, Wagoneer, and Chrysler. Auto Show attendees will also be able to enjoy two different interactive experiences courtesy of Stellantis. There’s the popular Camp Jeep and Ram Truck Territory test tracks which showcase all vehicles at their highest and most efficient power.

For the first time ever on display at an auto show, the Ram 1500 Revolution Battery-electric vehicle is sure to get tongues wagging. Ram Truck CEO Mike Koval will be in charge of introducing the model and discussing the brand’s plans to once again redefine what makes a pickup truck. Although the last to display its battery-electric offering (when compared with traditional “Big Three” rivals such as GM and Ford), Ram has perfected the art of the pickup truck and an all-new electric offering is no different. Ram first unveiled its Ram Revolution concept vehicle at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in January (2023).

Ram Territory Test Track

Ram returns to the 2023 Chicago Auto Show–the 10th consecutive year–with more than 230,000 test drives offered on its RamTruck Territory test track. Once again, attendees can enjoy these pickups at full capability while riding along on the free indoor test track. Ram Truck Territory puts these pickups to the test, showcasing towing, payload, technology, and even torque on the highly-popular Ram Territory Test Track, giving consumers an in-depth experience inside a Ram Truck.

Professional drivers are tasked with giving show attendees an exciting ride as they traverse the Ram Territory Test Track. There’s a series of steel culverts to start, highlighting the pickup’s suspension options as well as its ride handling capabilities. Attendees can also put Ram’s hill-descent control technology to the test on the iconic Ram Mountain–a 13-foot high, 30-foot long course element with impressive departure and approach angles. Technology will also be one of the main realms showcased as the pickup’s all include acoustic NVH features, as well as 360-degree camera technology and more.

The following Ram vehicles are available on the Ram Territory Test Track:

  • Ram 1500 Limited
  • Ram 1500 Rebel
  • Ram 2500 Limited
  • Ram 2500 Power Wagon
  • Ram 3500 Limited Night Edition
