Ram Truck announced the launch of the second installment of its Built to Serve limited edition pickups inspired by first-responder services. This time around, Ram Truck is honoring Emergency Medical Service personnel with a Ram 1500 Built to Serve limited edition pickup. Honoring frontline heroes who provide emergency medical services and save lives, the Ram 1500 EMS edition is a top-notch offering from the truck maker. Production of the Ram 1500 Built to Serve EMS pickup kicks off at the brand’s Sterling Heights (Michigan) plant in the fall of 2022.

“The Ram 1500 Built to Serve EMS edition is our way of honoring and expressing deep gratitude to the frontline heroes who serve or have served our country. At Ram, we are pleased to recognize the important work emergency medical service workers provide to their communities every day,” said Mike Koval Jr., Ram Brand CEO–Stellantis.

Ram 1500 Built to Serve EMS Options

Buyers can count on the Ram 1500 Built to Serve EMS to follow in the footsteps of many of its predecessors, offering buyers two specially selected exterior paint choices inspired by the EMS field and the history of said service. The EMS-inspired Ram 1500 comes in either Hydro Blue or Bright White, while the interior is standard black with blue accent stitching. Additional features that set the Ram 1500 Built to Serve EMS apart include interior and exterior accents such as a United States flag and a “Built to Serve” decal on each rear quarter panel.

Other stylish external design cues include a unique all-black grille and surround, black bumpers, 20-inch aluminum wheels in a one-of-a-kind Technical Gray finish, black-bezel premium lighting, and more. Body-color wheel flares add even more to the Ram 1500 Built to Serve EMS’s personality. Black badges, dual four-inch black exhaust tips, and black wheel-to-wheel steps round out the upcoming Ram 1500 Built to Serve EMS. The inside is no different and Ram highlights first responders once more with unique corresponding blue accent stitching.

Owners can display their first responder pride inside the cabin thanks to the Built to Serve-embroidered velcro panels available on the front seat and inboard shoulder panel. First responders are encouraged to apply their own patches, including name tapes, slogans, or flags, to further personalize the Built to Serve pickup. Ram equipped the front back-seat panels with webbing so owners can add even more additional equipment by attaching pouches.
