Latest “Built to Serve Edition” Ram Truck Now Available

December 3rd, 2020 by

Orders for the fourth installment of the Ram Trucks “Built to Serve” Limited Edition pickup trucks will enter production in early 2021 at the truck maker’s Sterling Heights Assembly Plant. This fourth installment celebrates the U.S. Marine Corps with a maritime and land force-inspired theme. Ram continues its mission to celebrate America’s five land, sea, and air-based armed forces with the “Built to Serve Edition” lineup. The latest Built to Serve offering comes in both Tank and Flame Red exterior colors, along with a black interior and Greystone accent stitching.

“These ‘Built to Serve’ models offer a unique way to honor all those who serve or have served in the United States armed forces with distinction. Whether civilian or military, Ram truck owners are very familiar with this adage as it’s something we strive to build into every truck and the van we produce,” said Mike Koval Jr., Head of Ram Brand.

Ram plans to continue releasing a new “Built to Serve Edition” pickup approximately every three months, all in the name of honoring America’s land, air or sea-based military branches. Each of the five branches of the U.S. military has already been or will be honored by Ram Trucks with two specifically selected exterior paint colors that evoke and embody the mission, spirit, and history of that respective service brand. Additionally, Ram will also offer “Built to Serve Edition” pickups in new low-volume paint options that are exclusive to this lineup.

Ram offers the “Built to Serve Edition” truck in the following colors and limited numbers:

  • Gator (1,000 units) and Diamond Black Crystal (1,000)
  • Ceramic Gray (1,000) and Patriot Blue (1,000)
  • Anvil (1,250) and Billet Silver Metallic (1,500)
  • Tank (1,000) and Flame Red (1,000)
  • Spitfire (500) and Bright White (500)

“Built to Serve Edition” Ram pickups feature unique interior and exterior features and accents that not only set them apart from the competition but from the rest of the Ram Trucks lineup as well. For starters, the “Built to Serve Edition” pickups include a United States flag and a “Built to Serve” decal on each of the rear quarter panels. Additionally, the trucks also feature bold exterior styling cues such as 20-inch aluminum wheels with a unique Technical Gray finish, body-color wheel flares, an all-black grille and surround, black bumpers, black badges, dual four-inch exhaust tips, black wheel-to-wheel side steps, and black-bezel premium lighting.

The interior of the “Built to Serve” Ram trucks are accented with corresponding color stitching, dependent on which branch of the military the truck represents. Accent stitching comes in the following shades: Light Frost, Light Diesel Gray, Orange, Medium Greystone, and Light Ambassador Blue. Owners can also display their military pride thanks to the “Built to Serve”-embroidered Velcro panels on each front seat, with additional Velcro panels on each front seat inboard shoulder panel as well. Buyers are free to apply their own patches, be if regimental, name tapes, slogans, or even flags — all in the name of personalizing their “Built to Serve” pickup.

In essence, all Ram Trucks are built to serve as they’re known for their capability and reliability.
