2021 Ram 1500 Highlights
Now that the enthusiasm for the 2021 Ram 1500 TRX has died down a little, it’s time for Ram Trucks to showcase the 2021 Ram 1500 alongside the rest of the brand’s lineup. The past few years, starting with 2018, have been successful for Ram Trucks as the automaker has been busy revamping and redesigning its pickups to much acclaim. Check out what’s new on the 2021 Ram 1500 model.
As automakers upgrade and freshen up their lineups, new features and accents abound and the 2021 Ram 1500 is no exception. For the first time in any Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) vehicle, buyers will be able to enjoy an all-new Head-up Display unit that’s able to display up to five different forms of content at once. There’s also an optional 360-degree Surround View camera that comes with power-folding trailer mirrors and can be paired with the new digital rearview mirror that’s a cross between a standard rearview mirror and a rear-facing camera.
Ram also has an array of available packages and add-ons that elevate their lineup to the next level. There’s a newly available Trailer Package that includes a Trailer Reverse Steering Control function along with Trailer Light Check and Trailer Tire Pressure Monitoring. Ram also offers a Wired Trailer Camera Prep Kit as well. Those with inclement weather during winter can count on the new Ram 1500 Snow Plow Prep option, while those looking to take their pickups on paths less traveled will be interested in the 4×4 Off-Road Group instead. Ram’s 4×4 Off-Road Group includes the Off-Road Pages feature via the infotainment display that shows the driver the transfer case position, ride height, and pitch and roll accessory gauges. Additionally, the Advanced Safety Group includes Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go, Automatic High Beams, Perpendicular Park Assist, Pedestrian Detection, and Lane Keep Assist.
Ram 1500 Limited Longhorn 10th Anniversary Edition
Ram is celebrating 10 years as a stand-alone brand after splitting off from Dodge and for 2021 its lineup includes the new Ram 1500 Limited Longhorn 10th Anniversary Edition. Prospective buyers can expect new badging on the doors, cluster, seats, tailgate, floor mats, and a center console with a new start-up display graphic. On the inside, Ram added a Mountain Brown shade that accents unique door bolsters, trim bezels, center stack surround, berber carpet, seat inserts, speaker grilles, and a metal pedal kit. All of these added features join other top-tier perks such as a class-exclusive RamBox Cargo Management System, a class-exclusive air suspension system, and the all-new 12-inch Uconnect infotainment touchscreen display.
