SRT driving times

Last week we talked about the cool opportunity for all buyers of a new SRT vehicle to get a free one-day SRT High Performance Driving Class at the Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving. Now, we’re going to talk more about the performance models SRT produces and all of the power that comes with them.

SRT Overview

SRT stands for Street and Racing Technology and the group was officially established in 2004. However, the group’s foundations began in 15 years prior in 1989 with the development of the first Dodge Viper. Since 2004, the group has expanded their engineering portfolio past the Dodge Viper and they have created various speed machines. In 2015, SRT and Dodge released the 707-horsepower Dodge Charger and Challenger SRT Hellcat and it was clear to other manufacturers that the Dodge/SRT wasn’t going to rest on their laurels.

Well, it’s been two years the introduction of the SRT Hellcat, so Dodge/SRT decided it was time to remind other manufacturers of their seriousness in the high performance game, and they introduced the 840-horsepower Dodge Challenger SRT Demon … and that’s where we are now.
