Ram Truck and Dodge//SRT Head to the 2021 Twin Cities Auto Show
The auto show circuit is alive and well after experiencing massive disruption due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. As cases wane and life returns to normal, automakers brave the crowds to show off their latest offerings. New Dodge//SRT and Ram brand vehicles are currently making their way to the Twin Cities Auto Show that kicks off May 15 (2021). Both brands, under parent company Stellantis, are bringing their best with a wide array of muscle cars and powerful and efficient pickups. Attendees will be treated to the best both Dodge and Ram Truck have to offer when the show opens to the public.
Dodge//SRT Brand
The Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat is arguably the brand’s hottest current vehicle as it joins the Challenger and Charger in tip-top SRT Hellcat form. Designed and engineered to be the most powerful SUV ever, the Durango SRT Hellcat boasts a supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI Hellcat V8 engine under its hood. With an impressive 710 horsepower and 645 lb-ft of torque, the Durango SRT Hellcat achieves a 0-60 mph rate of only 3.5 seconds, a top speed of 180 mph, and a quarter-mile time of just 11.5 seconds.
Best-in-class towing figures of 8,700 pounds help cement the Durango SRT Hellcat as the SUV to watch out for. No other SUV in the world can currently carry or tow more with a faster quarter-mile time, a true distinction for the model. Dodge also raised the bar for the 2021 Durango with a modernized exterior styling, and a new interior inspired by the solid Dodge Challenger model.
Ram Truck Brand
Fresh off the assembly line, the Ram 1500 TRX takes center stage for Ram Trucks at the Twin Cities Auto Show. As the apex predator of the truck world, the Ram 1500 TRX decidedly makes Ram Truck North America’s off-road truck leader. Engineered bolt by bolt to outperform all other hefty pickups on the market, the Ram 1500 TRX is a winner straight from the factory. Tested to handle the most punishing conditions under duress, no matter the terrain, the all-new TRX doesn’t compromise performance in exchange for extreme durability.
A supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI V8 engine roars under the hood with its extraordinary 702 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque. Just like the Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat, the Ram 1500 TRX also mints new levels of performance with figures such as a 0-60 mph time of just 4.5 seconds, a top speed of 118 mph, and 12.9 seconds to complete the quarter-mile. The Ram 1500 TRX is well on its way to becoming the most powerful mass-produced half-ton pickup truck in the world.
The wait is over as the Ram 1500 TRX is finally here at University Dodge.
