New Looks for the Dodge Durango: Brass Monkey and Anodized Platinum
2015 was Dodge Durango’s best sales year since 2006 and Dodge is celebrating by adding two new Durango appearance packages called, Brass Monkey and Anodized Platinum. Dealers can currently begin placing orders for these special packages and the orders are scheduled to arrive at dealerships in the second quarter of 2016. The Brass Monkey name was originally seen on the 2015 Charger and Challenger SRT models, which included Burnished Bronze wheels. However, the 2016 Brass Monkey package is only available on Durango Limited models and features 20-inch aluminum wheels also in the Burnished Bronze finish, gloss black grille and exterior badge, and a monochromatic exterior. The Brass Monkey package has a has an MSRP of $995.
The Anodized Platinum appearance package is available on the Durango Citadel model and adds 20-inch Satin Carbon aluminum wheels, and a platinum grille, exterior mirror caps, fog lamp bezels, exterior badge, door handles and lower sills. The Citadel’s Anodized Platinum appearance package has an MSRP of $1,095.
Known for being a vehicle that has a “best in class” title for towing and driving range, the Dodge Durango will hopefully continue breaking sales records in 2016, especially with the new packages that will further help distinguish the SUV from any other vehicles on the road.
