Introducing the All-new Ram ProMaster EV

Ram unveiled the new Ram ProMaster electric van (EV), featuring a targeted range of up to 162 miles in city driving. This marks Ram’s inaugural fully electrified vehicle, representing a significant stride in delivering top-tier options to the market. The Ram ProMaster EV will be offered in two mission-specific configurations, encompassing a delivery model and two cargo models. The cargo variant will be available in two configurations: a 12-foot cargo length and an extended 13-foot cargo length, both with 159-inch wheelbases.
“The introduction of the Ram ProMaster EV represents another major milestone on our electrification journey as we continue to evolve without sacrificing capability. Ram’s first available electric vehicle is a game-changer, offering commercial customers, large and small, the ultimate van in zero-emissions performance, commercial capability and advanced technology,” said Tim Kuniskis, Ram brand CEO – Stellantis.

The brand is poised to offer electrified solutions featuring disruptive, cutting-edge advanced technology in the coming years. Ram’s commitment to innovation and powertrain leadership is evident in a diverse lineup that addresses the actual needs and wants of truck and van buyers, meeting real-world demands.
Battery-Electric Power
The latest advancement in the Ram ProMaster lineup is the introduction of a battery-electric model, equipped with a standard 110-kilowatt-hour (kWh) battery pack that boasts a targeted range of up to 162 miles in city driving. The Ram ProMaster EV cargo van is designed to handle payloads of up to 3,020 pounds, while the delivery configuration offers a payload capacity of 2,030 pounds. Powering the vehicle is a 200-kilowatt (kW) electric drive module (EDM), delivering 268 horsepower, 302 lb.-ft. of torque, and standard front-wheel-drive capability.
Crafted on the ProMaster architecture but tailored explicitly for electrification, the Ram ProMaster EV boasts a unibody design that efficiently incorporates the battery pack. Positioned beneath the floor in the center of the vehicle, the battery maintains a flat floor, ensuring cargo volume remains consistent with internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles.
The Ram ProMaster EV is equipped with Level 3 DC fast charging options, ranging from 50kW to 150kW. Additionally, a wall box charger (Level 2) with a capacity of up to 11 kW is available. During the charging process, the charge port illuminates, accompanied by an audible sound alert to confirm the connection.
