Here are a Few Reasons to Love the 2022 Dodge Charger
Dodge made very few tweaks on its 2022 Charger, but the model still features plenty of improvements when it comes to its interior and exterior styling. There’s plenty to love about the 2022 Dodge Charger, including the fact that there are many trims to choose from, giving muscle car enthusiasts numerous opportunities to have the car of their dreams.
For starters, enthusiasts can enter the brotherhood of muscle with a simple SXT trim that’s powered by a V6 engine as the standard, yielding up to 292 horsepower. Customers who seek a little more of a thrill can rest assured that Dodge has enough engine options for every occasion. Higher-tier trims, such as the Charger R/T, are powered by a 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine that can churn out an impressive 375 horsepower. For even more performance prowess, there’s a Dodge Charger Scat Pack that’s also powered by a HEMI V8 and yields 485 horsepower.
Another perk of the 2022 Dodge Charger is its Performance Handling Group Package. Although this package is optional, and adds to the final sticker price of the vehicle, enthusiasts will love the more adventurous and sportier Charger models thanks to this package. Included on the Performance Handling Group are the following features: a flat-bottomed leather steering wheel, Black Brembo fixer caliper four-piston brakes, a sport-tuned suspension, and 20-inch Black Noise wheels clad in all-season performance tires. Just the steering wheel and exterior wheels alone make this a much sportier ride while also making the car much better when driving across rough terrain. This package is available on the GT, R/T, and Scat Pack trims of the 2022 Dodge Charger.
Just like the Challenger, the Charger features a Deluxe Security alarm upgrade that’s standard on the 2022 Charger Scat Pack, SRT Hellcat, and SRT Hellcat Redeye trims. The SXT, SXT AWD, GT, GT AWD, and R/T trims can experience the same upgrade via the Driver Convenience Group Package. The Intrusion Module responsible for triggering the car’s alarm if it detects glass breakage or vehicle movement is also included for the Charger. Additionally, as with the Challenger once again, the 2022 Charger ups security with the Key Programming Lockdown feature that foils thieves from programming new key fobs. The Charger also comes with an Enhanced Security Valet mode that drastically limits engine speed if the car detects it’s been broken into and started.
