Not So Fast, Dodge Is Still Upgrading 2018 Challenger Models
Dodge jumped on top of the 2018 model year early. Dodge released the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon, Dodge Durango SRT and the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Widebody all before July 2017. Because of this, so many people figured that there wouldn’t be many other changes made to 2018 models, but Dodge has recently released information about the 2018 Challenger lineup, and there are definitely more changes than we thought there would be.
Various 2018 Dodge Challenger Changes
In 2018 all Challenger models will come standard with a touchscreen and a backup camera. The Challenger SXT, R/T, R/T Shaker and T/A will be equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen as well as Uconnect 4 system, which provides access to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto on Challenger. Also, Dodge has added two new colors to the Challenger lineup, New F8 Green and IndiGO Blue exterior paint options added to the lineup.
Changes to 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat
Along with the addition of two extremely powerful muscle cars, the 840-horsepower Challenger SRT Demon and the 707-horsepower Challenger SRT Hellcat Widebody, Chrysler added new design options to 2018 Challenger SRT Hellcat models, and the new options allow owners to make their Challenger SRT Hellcat look a little more unique. 2018 Challenger SRT Hellcat models come standard with a new red IP badge, new grille and fender badges and upgraded Air catcher headlamps. Also, buyers of 2018 Challenger SRT Hellcat models have the option of gunmetal, black or orange Brembo brake calipers, a new matte Vapor wheel finish and Demonic Red Laguna Nappa leather, which is also an available option on the DOdge Challenger SRT Demon.
