Dodge Making Special ‘Go Mango’ Chargers and Challengers
Dodge’s announcement of the return of the spring-time color, ‘Go Mango’ as a paint option on all of the Charger and Challenger trims, comes just in time for the first official day of spring on Sunday, March 20.
Since the orange-based hue was introduced in 1970 on the Challenger, demand for the vibrant color has continually increased – as the paint color is directly associated with high collectability and the “Mopar-or-no-car” legacy.
In addition to being available on the Charger and Challengers, ‘Go Mango’ is also available on the 2016 Dodge Dart. Previous to this year, ‘Go Mango’ had not been a color option on vehicles since the 2006 Dodge Charger R/T Daytona.
‘Plum Crazy’ was Dodge’s limited-time color option in 2015 and the special-edition color was so popular among buyers that Dodge extended the deadline on Plum Crazy orders into January 2016, rather than ending in September 2015 as originally planned.
