University Dodge - 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona EV

Muscle cars just got an electric jolt! Dodge throws down the gauntlet with the world’s first-ever electric muscle car – the 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona. This groundbreaking unveiling marks not just Dodge’s foray into electric vehicles, but also the introduction of a multi-powertrain strategy for the iconic Charger. The all-new Charger lineup retains its crown as the undisputed leader in muscle car dominance. Spearheading the charge is the earth-shattering Charger Daytona Scat Pack, boasting a mind-numbing 670 horsepower and blistering acceleration. This electric powerhouse is expected to conquer the 0-60 mph sprint in a mere 3.3 seconds and devour the quarter-mile in a staggering 11.5 seconds. Dodge also offers a thrilling option for those seeking a taste of electric muscle without the full Scat Pack fury. The 2024 Charger Daytona R/T boasts a potent 496 horsepower, ensuring an unforgettable driving experience.

The all-new Dodge Charger comes standard with all-wheel drive and offers two exhilarating powertrain choices:

  • Dodge Charger SIXPACK H.O.: This powerhouse boasts a 3.0L Twin Turbo Hurricane High Output engine, unleashing a monstrous 550 horsepower.
  • Dodge Charger SIXPACK S.O.: Opt for the 3.0L Twin Turbo Hurricane Standard Output engine, delivering a thrilling 420 horsepower.

“The electrified 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack delivers Charger Hellcat Redeye levels of performance and announces its presence through the world’s first Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust, while Hurricane engine-powered Dodge Charger SIXPACK models will give the Brotherhood of Muscle a gas option that produces better horsepower and torque numbers than the outgoing 5.7- and 6.4-liter HEMI engines,” said Tim Kuniskis, Dodge brand chief executive officer – Stellantis. “The next generation of Dodge muscle has arrived.”

Gear up for the electric muscle revolution!

Production for the all-new Dodge Charger lineup kicks off in mid-2024 with the two-door electric Charger Daytona Scat Pack and R/T models. Hot on their heels, four-door electric Daytona variants are slated for production in the first quarter of 2025. Muscle car purists can rejoice too, production for the gasoline-powered Dodge Charger SIXPACK H.O. (two-door) and S.O. (four-door) commences alongside the electric models in Q1 of 2025. The all-new Charger will be assembled at the Windsor (Ontario) Assembly Plant.
