Another Good Sales Month for FCA Brands, Dodge and Ram

July 7th, 2016 by

Another good month for Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA), especially for the Ram Truck Brand. Overall, FCA’s June 2016 sales consisted of a 7% increase compared to the monthly June sales from a year ago.  Ram experienced a 14% monthly sales increase in comparison to June 2015 and the Dodge brand also experienced a 3% sales increase in comparison to June 2015.

Ram pickup trucks and the Ram ProMaster City both had healthy sales increases. June 2016 sales of the Ram ProMaster City add up to a 125% sales increase in comparison to sales in June 2015. Sales of Ram pickup trucks last month increased by 14% in comparison to June sales last year.

Last month, Dodge’s bigger vehicles, the Dodge Grand Caravan and the Dodge Durango, experienced sales increases in comparison to June 2015. In comparison to monthly sales in June 2015 and June 2016, the Dodge Grand Caravan’s monthly sales reflected a 79% increase and the Dodge Durango had a sales increase of 38%. Since both vehicles fit up to seven passengers comfortably, the need for a vehicle big enough for summer road trips could have been a driving factor behind the sales increases.
