Annual Mopar Nationals Car Show Returns to University Dodge in March

Davie, Fla. — Classic and contemporary MOPAR and AMC vehicles will compete for top honors at the 30th Annual Florida MOPAR Nationals Car Show and Swap Meet. The show returns to Rob Lambdin’s University Dodge and is scheduled for Sunday, March 4, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Each year, hundreds of spectators attend the show to admire the huge collection of MOPAR and AMC cars on display. The car show is open to all MOPAR and AMC makes and models of all years. Throughout the day, trained judges evaluate all participating vehicles to determine the prize winners. “Best of Show,” “Dealer’s Choice,” and a “Participant’s Choice” awards will be given in both the classic and modern categories, and all participating cars will receive a gold, silver or bronze plaque.

In addition to the car show, there are several other activities. Model Car Creations of South Florida hosts and judges a model car contest, and outside of the show there is a large swap meet of car parts, car collectibles and antiques. Additionally, the local Moose Lodge will be grilling burgers and hot dogs, there will be music provided by Scott the Music Man, professional photos of the show cars, raffle drawings, and door prizes.

Event attendance is free and open to the public. All proceeds will go to the Darrell Gwynn Quality of Life Chapter of the Buoniconti Fund to Cure Paralysis. The fee to enter a car in the car show is $25 and owners can register for the show online, www.floridamopar.com, or at the show.

The 30th Annual Florida MOPAR Nationals Car Show and Swap Meet is presented by the Florida MOPAR Connection Car Club and sponsored by Rob Lambdin’s University Dodge and Darrell Gwynn Quality of Life Chapter of the Buoniconti Fund to Cure Paralysis, Rob Lambdin’s University Dodge is located at 5455 South University Dr. in Davie, Fla.
