Powertrains
The Hornet GT trims are propelled by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, delivering an impressive 268 horsepower. This power is seamlessly transmitted through a nine-speed automatic transmission, providing a smooth and efficient driving experience. Furthermore, all-wheel drive comes as a standard feature like we mentioned prior. Dodge also introduces its first plug-in hybrid trim with the R/T variant, combining a turbocharged 1.3-liter four-cylinder engine with an electric motor, generating a combined output of 288 horsepower. While R/T trims differ from the GT when it comes to their respective transmission, with the hybrid relying on a six-speed automatic, Dodge maintains the all-wheel drive system as standard.
