What’s New for 2022?

Dodge didn’t make any significant changes to the 2022 Dodge Challenger lineup, with the only stark difference from the previous model year is an addition of a deluxe security alarm on the R/T Scat Pack trim. Additionally, Dodge also offers this deluxe alarm security system as part of its Convenience Group Package. Additional features that are new in 2022 include the Dynamics Package that add six-piston Brembo front brakes, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and 20-inch wheels. Dodge also offers a Plus Package that takes the interior cabin to new heights with faux-suede seat inserts, improved upholstery, better materials on the dashboard and doors, and ambient lighting. The Driver Convenience Group is also available and adds advanced safety tech such as Blind-Spot Monitoring, Rear-Cross-Traffic Alert, Power Mirrors, and High-Intensity-Discharge headlights.

Exterior Features

Its heritage-inspired and aggressive stance remains unchanged for the 2022 model year. The 2022 Dodge Challenger features badges in accordance with the trim, like HEMI fender badges, Hellcat badges, Hellcat Redeye badges, and even a 392 Bee badge on the R/T Scat Pack trim. Both the Redeye and Super Stock trims feature a Hellcat badge with red eyes in a black chrome finish. As for the Widebody designation, the trim improves overall performance while modernizing the vehicle without wavering from its heritage design. Additional exterior features available on the 2022 Dodge Challenger include racing stripes packages, hood scoops, shaker hoods, snorkel hoods, air-catcher headlamps that improve airflow and performance, low gloss Granite wheels, and even drag-radial tires.

Dodge offers buyers a colorful roster of exterior paint options to choose from, as well as numerous retro-themed appearance packages.
