After adding the powerful Dodge Durango SRT to the 2018 model lineup, the Dodge brand is reshuffling some packages on the most capable third-row SUV. For the 2019 model year, the Dodge Durango is adding five distinct models – SXT, GT, Citadel, R/T and SRT. From the Dodge Durango SRT’s powerful engine that produces 475 horsepower to the Durango SXT’s capable V6 engine, each model provides high performance and fuel efficiency. Moreover, all models are available with all-wheel-drive (AWD) capabilities.

2019 Dodge Durango SRT

For the 2019 model year, the Dodge Durango SRT is still considered America’s fastest, most powerful, most capable three-row SUV. Equipped with a 6.4-liter V8 engine that delivers 475 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque, the Durango SRT can go from 0-60 in 4.4 seconds and kills a quarter-mile in 12.9 seconds – according to the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA). The Durango SRT’s V8 engine allows for a maximum towing capacity of 8,700 pounds. Additional performance features include an Active Damping System that opens and closes the suspensions damper valves, performance-tuned AWD system, and an exhaust system that delivers an undeniable high performance Dodge//SRT exhaust sound.

The interior cabin of the 2019 Dodge Durango SRT is just as impressive as what’s under the hood. The Durango offers 43.3 cubic feet of cargo space once the third row is folded down, and offers 85.1 cubic feet with the second row also folded down. The interior design features Laguna leather and carbon fiber accents along the instrument panel, paired with a hand-wrapped dashboard with live silver accent stitching. Lastly, an 825-watt, 19-speaker Harman Kardon audio system offers a one-of-a-kind sound experience for the interior cabin.

“The Durango is our three-row Charger of the SUV segment, delivering uncompromised utility, advanced technology, class-leading towing and driving range, confident driving dynamics and aggressive styling,” said Steve Beahm, Head of Passenger Cars, Dodge//SRT, Chrysler and FIAT, FCA – North America. “Customer demand for utility vehicles in the United States has exploded over the past decade, and with America’s fastest, most powerful and most capable three-row SUVs in our garage and the new updates for the 2019 model year, Dodge Durango continues to separate itself from the competition with the performance and capability that our customers demand.”
