Build
Ram trucks are built to last and they have great exterior features and options. There are dozens of wheel and tire options. The Ram 1500 Tradesman rides on 17-inch steel wheels, whereas the Ram 1500 Laramie rides on 20-inch polish aluminum wheels, and the off-road Ram 1500 Rebel rides on 17-inch aluminum wheels with black pockets and it comes standard with wheel flares and wheel liners to protect the truck from mud that may be kicked up when off-roading. Automatic headlamps are standard on all Ram 1500 pickups, and other lighting options include halogen quad beam headlights, LED lights in the truck bed, fog lights and incandescent tail lamps.
RamBox Cargo Management System
One available feature offered exclusively by Ram is the RamBox Cargo Management System, and it is an excellent feature that keeps cargo in the truck bed organized as well as secure. The RamBox Cargo Management System has two main components, a divider and cargo bed rails in the truck bed and two containers on both sides of the truck bed. The divider and cargo bed rails can be adjusted to accommodate different sizes and types of cargo, and the bed rail also makes it possible to extend the truck bed by serving as a temporary tailgate when the real tailgate is down. The containers located on both sides of the bed are lit and drainable containers that blend right in with the sides of the truck bed. The containers are lockable, so they are a great way for people to store things in the truck bed, but not worry about anyone being able to get to them.
