2017 Dodge Durango Near Miami

Named the “Most Loved Midsize SUV” for three years in a row by Strategic Vision, the Dodge Durango has captured people’s hearts. Built with towing, comfort and technology in mind, the 2017 Dodge Durango offers drivers many of the same features that were available on the 2016 Durango lineup.
Engine + Trims
The 2017 Dodge Durango lineup consists of four trims, the Durango SXT, GT, Citadel and R/T and there are two available engine options. In addition to those choices, buyers also have the option of rear-wheel drive or all-wheel-drive.
On all trims but the Durango R/T, the standard engine is a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine with engine start stop (ESS) technology. This engine that generates 290 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque and gives the Durango a maximum towing capacity of 6,200.
ESS is a fuel saving tech equipment that is regulated by algorithms to control the vehicle’s powertrain and chassis to reduce crank time. This leads to an increase in fuel efficiency and a decrease in CO2 emissions. With ESS, the Durango gets an average of 26 mpg on the highway.
So what is the engine on the Dodge Durango R/T? A powerful 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine. This engine produces best-in-class 390 lb-ft of torque, 360 horsepower and a 7,400 towing capacity.
Both of the Durango’s engines are paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission. To give drivers more control of the vehicle, the transmission also features wheel mounted paddle shifters for manual shifting.
Interior
One change for the 2017 model year is the increased number of seating configurations. For 2017, the Durango will now come standard with five passenger seating, but six or seven passenger seating is available on all Durango trims. The Durango has comfortable standard cloth seating and leather seating is an available upgrade or a standard feature on the upper-level Durango trims. All Durango trims are equipped with a 5-inch or 8.4-inch touchscreen which provides access to the vehicle’s Uconnect system. Buyers can also opt for the available Blu-ray video rear entertainment system. This system includes two 9-inch screens with wireless headphones so people in the back can play games or watch movies without disrupting the entire car.
