Ram Truck Strikes a Partnership With an Unlikely Ally

December 13th, 2021 by

Ram Truck continues to break the mold as it branches out into other avenues, honing in on the Ram Truck lifestyle. The pickup maker’s latest partnership is one with Lucchese – a legendary Texas bootmaker. Both Lucchese and Ram Trucks collaborated to launch a new premium and western-infused boot collection inspired by the Ram Trucks Lineup. Specifically, the 2021 Ram 1500 Limited Longhorn 10th Anniversary Edition served as the inspiration.

“We’re excited to launch our design collaboration with premium boot maker Lucchese, showcasing again how the Ram Truck brand takes great pride in delivering a high level of quality and craftsmanship in every product delivered to customers. This one-of-a-kind collection brings together these two high end brands, drawing inspiration from the premium materials featured inside the Ram Limited Longhorn 10th Anniversary Edition,” said Marissa Hunter, Vice President of Marketing – North America.

Designed with the utmost attention to detail and built to match the specifications of Ram Truck customers, the latest collaboration between Lucchese and Ram offers five different Ram-branded boots. There are three different styles for men and two styles for women.

  • Ram Men’s Tooled Western Boot – men’s hand-tooled quarter and giant gator vamp ($2,495 MSRP)
  • Ram Men’s Caiman Horseman Boot – men’s hand cut inlay quarter and giant belly caiman vamp ($995 MSRP)
  • Ram Men’s Ostrich Horseman Boot – men’s fancy stitch quarter and hand stained ostrich vamp ($745 MSRP)
  • Ram Ladies’ Giant Gator Western Boot – women’s inlaid quarter and giant gator vamp ($1,395 MSRP)
  • Ram Ladies’ Horseman Boot – women’s side seam quarter and inlay with goat vamp ($695 MSRP)

Albeit an unusual partnership, these boots are clearly meant for more than walking, as Ram and Lucchese opted for the best materials. Kicking off the collection, both Ram Truck and Lucchese dove deeper into the collaborative process on Ram’s Behind the Badge hub. Consumers can learn more from personal interviews of the people that worked on the collection. The full collection of boots is now ready to pre-order at https://lucchese.com/pages/lucchesexram .

“With any partnership Lucchese enters, we look for shared values and common purpose. Ram Truck clearly exemplifies a drive and desire to provide the highest quality and most premium experiences to their customers. At Lucchese, we feel the same. We are honored and happy to be able to partner on a celebration this exciting. Together, we have been able to celebrate the beauty and craft that unites us through the western lifestyle,” said Doug Hogue, Vice President of Product and Marketing for Lucchese.

It isn’t hard to see why Lucchese took so much inspiration from the Ram Truck brand, considering the brand’s vehicles have earned top honors from Motor Trend for three years in a row. It all started with the all-new Ram 1500 in 2019, followed by the revamped Ram Heavy Duty lineup in 2020, and rounding out top honors in 2021 with the industry-disruptor Ram 1500 TRX. Additionally, Ram Trucks recently became the very first truck-only automaker to capture a top spot in J.D. Power’s 2021 Initial Quality Study. These latest accolades really document Ram’s meteoric rise over the past few years.
