For the 2019 model year, the Ram ProMaster is powered by the award-winning 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine and Class-Exclusive front-wheel-drive system. The 3.6-liter engine is complemented by a six-speed automatic transmission and delivers Best-in-Class 280 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. When equipped with the six-speed transmission, the Ram ProMaster has a maximum payload of 4,680 pounds and a towing capacity of 5,100 pounds, while providing a smooth drive with minimal changes between gears. The Class-Exclusive front-wheel-drive system, according to Ram, is light, nimble, responsive and also assists in contributing to a lower lifetime cost of ownership.
In making room for just about any commercial business, each Ram ProMaster model can be configured to fit the consumer’s needs. The 2019 Ram ProMaster is available in four trim levels – Ram ProMaster Cargo Van, Window Van, Chassis Cab, and Cutaway Van. Each model, depending on the payload, is available in three different variants, including the ProMaster 1500, 2500, and 3500. Also, there are two roof sizes, high and low, plus regular or extended body lengths. Furthermore, four available wheelbases are exclusively offered on specific models. First, only the Ram ProMaster 1500 Cargo Van Low Roof provides a standard 118-inch wheelbase. Secondly, a medium 136-inch wheelbase is offered on the Ram ProMaster 1500 Cargo Van Low and High Roof, 2500 Cargo Van High Roof, 3500 Chassis Cab, and the 3500 Cutaway Van. Lastly, a 159-inch long and extended wheelbase is available on the Ram ProMaster 2500 Cargo Van High Roof, 2500 Window Van High Roof, 3500 Cargo High Roof, 3500 Cutaway Van, and the 3500 Chassis Cab.
The 2019 Ram ProMaster was designed for service and ready to take on any commercial job. All ProMaster trim levels and their variants come standard with 16-inch x 6.0-inch steel wheels, LT225/75R16E BSW all-season tires, a 16-inch steel spare wheel, an underslung tire carrier, and manual fold-away mirrors. As previously mentioned, the Ram ProMaster has several configurations. In terms of exterior styling and convenience features, it all depends on the model chosen by the consumer. Available tire and wheel options include 16-inch x 6.0-inch aluminum wheels and black painted steel wheels, and 225/75R16C BSW all-season tires. Optional convenience features include a deep tint sunscreen glass, power folding/heated mirrors, rear-hinged doors without glass, rear window defroster, side wall cargo tie-down rings, and wide power-heated mirrors.
Furthermore, a three-piece modular front fascia and the rear fascia are made out of durable thermoplastic composite panels that can be removed easily for simple serviceability, enhanced uptime, and low repair costs. The Ram ProMaster offers a Best-in-Class 36-foot turning diameter for easy in-and-out access, especially in those busy city streets. Also, all models can be distinguished on the road by the standard “PROMASTER” side door badge, and depending on the model, the badge will also include “1500”, “2500”, or “3500”. Additional available options include a chrome grille, front license plate bracket, and rear bumper step extension.
According to Ram, the 2019 Ram ProMaster uses smart interior features that are designed to create a work vehicle experience that ensures consumers feel safe and secure wherever the job takes them. All trims and their variants come standard with cloth bucket seats and four-way adjustable driver and passenger seats. Standard interior convenience features include 12-volt power outlet mounted in the instrument panel, forward cabin air conditioning, glove box, oil level sensor, power windows with a front one-touch-down feature, rear speaker wiring prep, rearview day and night mirror, and speed sensitive power locks.
Due to the fact that the Ram ProMaster has several configurations, there are a variety of optional interior features offered on almost every ProMaster model. The available seating options include driver and passenger six-way adjustable lumbar seats, driver and passenger swivel seats, heated driver and passenger seats, and vinyl bucket seats. The optional convenience features include two additional key fobs, auxiliary switches, cargo compartment floor mat, cargo net, cargo partition with sliding-windows. Additionally, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, locking glove box, rear assist handles, wood composite floors, and an instrument panel with bright bezels are also available options.

Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Packages
Available in the Ranger Contractor Package or the Adrian Steel HVAC Package, both packages feature tradesman-proven tough shelving and drawer units consisting of several organizational options while maximizing interior cargo space. The cargo van’s layout also allows for equipment to be securely stored and easily accessed when needed.
Available only in the Ranger Deluxe Delivery Package, this package features interior shelving systems designed to save time and money while also increasing a consumers payload and productivity.
Available in the Ranger Deluxe Service Package or the Adrian Steel Cable Package for Telecom/Electrical, both packages include several large and small storage areas plus Telecom van shelving units where tools can be accessed and securely stored, hassle-free. The Adrian Steel package exclusively offers divided shelving and composite drawers that are ideal for storing connectors, adapters, wall plates, cables, and splitters.
Available in the Ranger Deluxe Service Package or the Adrian Steel Electrical Contractor Package, both deliver exceptional cargo space and Telecom van shelving units to tackle everyday wear and tear. The Adrian Steel Package creates easily accessible storage for electrical connectors, junction boxes, and tools.
Available in the Adrian Steel General Service Package, consumers are delivered the versatility to transport tools and equipment with adjustable shelving options and customizable drop-in dividers.
Available in the Adrian Steel Locksmith Package, optimal storage options deliver sufficient cargo space for key machines, blank keys, locks, and additional tools.
The majority of the entertainment features included on the 2019 Ram ProMaster Cargo Van are offered standard – except the optional one-year subscription to SiriusXM Satellite Radio and the Uconnect 3 NAV infotainment system. The remaining entertainment features include Uconnect 3 with a 5-inch display, four-speakers, integrated voice command with Bluetooth, media hubs for USB and Auxiliary cables, a remote USB port for charging smart devices, and steering wheel mounted audio controls.
Safety Features + Warranty
The standard safety features offered on the 2019 Ram ProMaster Cargo Van include all-speed traction control, dealer activated speed limiter, electric roll mitigation, electronic stability control, hill start assist, ParkView rear back up camera, tire pressure monitoring display, traction control, and remote keyless entry. Moreover, supplemental side-curtain front airbags, front seat-mounted side airbags, and front airbags are also standard on the 2019 Ram ProMaster Cargo Van.
The 2019 Ram ProMaster Cargo Vans are covered by the following warranties: 3-year or 36,000-mile basic warranty; a 5-year or 60,000-mile powertrain warranty, a 5-year/100,000-mile warranty for rust-through coverage plan; and 5 years or 100,000 miles of roadside assistance.
